Zena Top is a crochet blouse with a wide neck silhouette, and three-quarter length sleeves. The pattern begins by working in the round, bottom up, with waist shaping along the body of the top. After the body section is complete, the bust and the back is worked up together, then separate to work up the straps. Sleeves are worked in the round along the arm holes.The pattern is intermediate level, and is written in English using US crochet terminology.
Recreating/ redistributing this pattern into a tutorial of any kind is strictly prohibited. You may sell your finished top but please credit the pattern.
Sizing *This pattern is not a traditional graded pattern*
It is made- to-measurements (M2M), which means you can recreate a top that fits to your exact measurements. This pattern does not require you to match gauge, and can be made using any yarn between lace & sport weight + the corresponding hook size.
RequiredMaterials
Body section yarn: lace weight held double (0), fingering weight (1), or sport weight (2)
yardage will differ per size, refer to p. 2-4 for different examples of yardage
Hook size: (the larger the hook= less opaque sts ) 2.5 - 3.5 mm for lace weight double held or fingering, 3.0- 4.0 mm hook for sport weight (body), and 1.0 mm smaller than your yarns recommended hook size (neckline detail) : I used a 2.5 (body) & 1.5 mm (neckline)
